The lightweight, aluminum alloy buffer is designed to reduce the reciprocating mass of the operating system, thereby minimizing the overall recoil impulse felt by the shooter. This feature is particularly beneficial for competitive shooters, helping them maintain sight alignment on the target for precise follow-up shots and tighter groupings.
This buffer is specifically designed for competition rifles equipped with full-length receiver extension tubes and lightweight titanium or aluminum alloy bolt carriers. It is also compatible with any conventional mil-spec carrier where a reduction in mass is desired.
When combined with a lightweight carrier, this buffer can virtually eliminate felt recoil and increase bolt velocity without significantly affecting reliability.
